Sarah Geronimo: I don't have the body for Darna
27 Mar - Fans have started suggesting names again since Angel Locsin confirmed she will not be reprising her role as the iconic female superhero, Darna; and one of the names repeatedly mentioned by fans is pop princess Sarah Geronimo.
However, according to Sunstar, while she is flattered to be considered by "Darna" enthusiasts, Geronimo recently stated that the probability of her donning the sexy costume is close to zero.
"I don't have boobs, what to do?" she said, jokingly.
Geronimo said that unless "Darna" fans are willing to see a female superhero who wears a jumpsuit, she would not be playing the role anytime soon.
"Do you want to see Darna in a jumpsuit? I have said for a long time, the role is not for me because it's iconic," she said.
The singer admitted that aside from not having the body for Darna, she believes that she will not have the strength and focus to do the role, which requires a lot from its star.
For now, Geronimo will focus on her upcoming coaching job on "The Voice Teens" and her reunion project with John Lloyd Cruz.
