Sarah Geronimo anticipates new project with Daniel Padilla
28 Mar - Sarah Geronimo has a lot of projects this year now that she is back in the limelight. But if there is one project that she is looking forward to right now, that would be her first movie with Daniel Padilla.
As reported on ABS-CBN news, the singer-actress, who spoke to the media recently, admitted that she is excited about working with Padilla, ever since she met the actor on her show, "Sarah G Live" back when he was still a newbie.
"He was really cute back then, so I asked my boss [Viva's Vic del Rosario] to find us something to do together, but he joked that my leading men seemed to get younger and younger," she said.
Geronimo said that she never thought that there would come a point where the idea would be realised. However, she added that the project is still in the planning stage.
Rumours of an upcoming collaboration between Geronimo and Padilla sparked last month, after they performed a duet on "ASAP".
In an interview with the media, Padilla said he would love to work with Geronimo in a movie if given the opportunity. However, when he made the suggestion to Star Magic's Johnny Manahan, Padilla joked that he was basically ignored.
