The Taiwanese TV presenter shared the good news on social media on 30 October with photos from the gender reveal party, in which she and her husband can be seen popping a giant black balloon to reveal smaller blue balloons and confetti.
"We are all still digesting. It's so cool. We'd be fine with either a boy or a girl, but we are still very happy. I was crying and laughing, and I was shaking so much I couldn't speak," Sandy wrote.
The TV host added, "Thank you God, for giving us a son."
It was back in September that Sandy announced that she is pregnant with her first baby, adding that the pregnancy was a product of "half a plan, half a surprise."
She tied the knot in January this year with non-showbiz husband, Wang Yangkai.
