Sandy Wu assures mum's health
13 Nov – Sandy Wu recently assured that everything is fine with mother Chang Wei-wei, following her father Jacky Wu's recent interview in which he opened up about his wife's previous struggle with breast cancer.
As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese TV host, who was asked about her mother's condition during a brand event recently, stated that Chang has already surpassed the five-year survival rate.
"I was only 18 when she had it and was living abroad. I don't know much of the details. But she is very happy now. Happiness really is the best medicine," she said.
When mentioned that Jacky had previously admitted to being good to his kids but not a good husband to Chang, Sandy laughed and said that her father is a very strange man.
"He likes expressing his love for us, which is very rare for Asian."
Asked how much she would score Jacky when it comes to him being a good father, she joked, "You can't have him too proud of himself, so 90 points is enough."
