Sandra Ng wears her own clothes for "Love Lies"
22 Apr - Did you know that most of the fashionable clothes worn by Sandra Ng on the set of "Love Lies" were her own?
This was revealed by producer Janet Chun, who expressed gratitude to the actress for using her own wardrobe to portray her role as a fashionable gynaecologist in the movie.
Janet said that due to the limited budget that they have to make the movie, Sandra decided to enhance the look of her character by using her own clothes and handbags rather than let the costume department fork out a sum to prepare clothes for her.
Sandra couldn't help but laugh upon hearing this, saying, "You seem to have said that I love fashion brands. No. In fact, I just brought out a few clothes and bags that I would occasionally buy and then keep them."
"I didn't expect them to be useful this time," she added.
In the film, Sandra plays a woman who finds herself falling for a middle-aged French engineer, who is then revealed to be nothing more than an online scam.
