Sandra Ng recommends MC Cheung Tin Fu for "Love Lies"

13 Mar - Sandra Ng recently revealed that it was her who personally recommended the producer of the new movie, "Love Lies" to cast MC Cheung Tin Fu in the lead.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at FILMART as part of the One Cool Pictures lineup, shared that she decided to recommend the singer after watching MC's concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

"I was mesmerised by it. He has an amazing stage charisma and plus, he is also handsome," she said.

Sandra says MC suited the character in the movie

Sandra said that the charisma and looks really suited the character in the movie, which has the theme of online dating scams.

In it, MC plays a conman who pretends to be a middle-aged French oil and gas engineer who lost his wife in order to defraud a well-known gynaecologist (Sandra Ng).
