Sandra Ng honoured with Hawaii International Film Festival Spotlight award

16 Oct - Sandra Ng has recently been awarded the HIFF Spotlight On Hong Kong Filmmaker in Profile Award at the 44th Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF).

The actress, who was honoured with the award in recognition of her contributions and achievements in the film industry, expressed in her speech, "I am very lucky to be able to start my career during the heyday of Hong Kong movies. I started by playing small roles in movies and tried my best in every role, hoping to leave a deep impression on the audience."

"Forty years and 150 films later, I'm honoured to be a filmmaker in profile here today. As I started my career outside of the spotlight, I would continue to learn how to be a better actor and producer," she added.
