Samuel L. Jackson will be looking 25 years younger in "Captain Marvel"

Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury will be 25 years younger throughout the upcoming "Captain Marvel".

9 Jul – Nick Fury fans who have missed seeing him in MCU movies will definitely be seeing a whole lot more of him in next year's "Captain Marvel" – he will just be sporting a slightly different look.

Fury will be de-aged for the movie, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told Slash Film.

While that might not sound so impressive given that Marvel has done it for other MCU characters, this time the de-aging will not be just for a certain part but for throughout the whole movie.

Feige confirmed it when he was asked whether any upcoming MCU movies will utilise the de-aging effect again, as was seen most recently in "Ant-Man and the Wasp", and he responded, "without spoiling anything, Sam Jackson is shooting a movie for us right now that takes, where he's entirely 25 years younger the whole movie."

If you're wondering how Samuel L. Jackson looks like 25 years ago,
here's the actor in 1993's "Jurassic Park".

So yes, we will see Samuel L. Jackson as a 25 years younger Nick Fury throughout the whole of "Captain Marvel".

S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, will also be de-aged for the same movie.

The digital de-aging process has previously been used on Robert Downey Jr. ("Captain America: Civil War"), Kurt Russell ("Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2"), Michael Douglas ("Ant-Man") and most recently, Douglas again, this time along with Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne, in "Ant-Man and The Wasp".

So there's that to look forward to when "Captain Marvel" opens in cinemas in March 2019.
