Sammy Shum regards Shirley Chan as "marriage partner"
3 Jun – Sammy Shum recently admitted that he is very serious about his relationship with Shirley Chan, whom he had started dating since early last year.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who spoke to the media in TVB City after filming his new series, "Smiling Across the Mortal World", shared that he recently asked for a night off from the producers just so that he could go and celebrate the actress' 27th birthday on 22 May.
"My girlfriend likes to celebrate things. It's been a pleasure to eat meals together. She is easily satisfied," he said.
Sammy added that though he had not much time to accompany the actress due to his hectic schedule, Shirley did not complain at all.
Asked if there is a marriage plan, Sammy bluntly stated that he is already 37 and has regarded Shirley as a marriage partner with whom he will form a family in due course.
"But the plan has yet to be made. I hope that the two of us will have more stability and that the pandemic will settle down before we make that decision," he added.
