Sammi Cheng doesn't mind life with no children

21 Feb – Although she plays a foster mother in the new movie, "Lost Love", Sammi Cheng admitted that she is fine having no children in real life.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress and Cantopop star, who promoted the movie recently, stated that people have different experiences and interpretations about love, and to her, a complete life does not necessarily mean a life with children.

Adding that she is happy with her husband Andy Hui and their pets, Sammi said, "I am someone who absolutely needs to be physically free. Life with children is not for me."

Sammi said that while she wanted to be a mother when she was in her 20s, she found herself not thinking about it when she reached her 30s and finally understood her personality.

Nonetheless, the 50-year-old actress hopes that people will see the great love of a mother and the relationship between foster families and the children through the new movie.

On the other hand, when mentioned that she wore no make-up at all in the movie, Sammi said that one must accept oneself first in order to show their true side on the big screen.

"When I am old, I am old. I will show it in whatever state I want to appear in. I am very accepting of myself at this stage," she added.
