Samantha Ko denies special treatment by TVB

26 Oct - TVB actress Samantha Ko has denied rumours saying that she has been receiving special treatment from TVB due to her friendship with its Chairman, Charles Chan.

Previously, it was rumoured that Chan has been giving Samantha more opportunities than other actresses in TVB, which is how she was able to appear in movies alongside superstars.

It was also reported that she was offered to sign with Shaw Brothers Studio, rather than continue her television contract with TVB.

However, when asked about it recently, according to HK Apple Daily, Samantha denied the reports, saying, "If the writer has a mother, a sister, a girlfriend, or a daughter, please put yourself in other people's shoes and don't go ruining a woman's reputation."

Samantha stated that she had never negotiated anything with Shaw Brothers Studio and that her contract with TVB has already been extended.

"There are things that will never be true no matter how many times you try to make them," she added furiously.
