Ryan Bang is the "soy sauce" of "Loving in Tandem" dish
19 Sep - Philippine-based Korean actor Ryan Bang likened his performance in the new movie, "Loving in Tandem" to a condiment instead of the main ingredients, denying that he has upstaged the lead stars that include Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.
As reported on Push, the actor who starred in the movie alongside the MayWard tandem as well as two other actors, Marco Gallo and Kisses Delavin, stated, "The movie revolves around [the four stars]. They are the main leads who face the challenges. I'm just a bonus."
He further explained, "I'm like the sauce for the delicious food. There's spicy sauce, soy sauce and ketchup. If they enjoy the movie because of me, that's just a sign that they love soy sauce."
Bang also added that he enjoyed working with the new actors and playing the role of a "brother" to the younger stars.
In related news, Bang has been appointed by the Korean Tourism Organisation to be the honorary ambassador of Gangwon province.
