Run, don’t walk! 100 FREE plates from Ah Lim Chicken Rice

We covered the recent soft launch of a new Bedok chicken rice spot, Ah Lim Chicken Rice 阿林鸡饭. Their grand opening is slated for 7 May 2023, and from 3.15pm, they will be giving out 100 plates of chicken rice free of charge!

Ah Lim Chicken Rice - Storefront

Each customer is entitled to one redemption on a first come, first served basis, and this promotion is only valid for those dining in. Patrons can choose from steamed, roasted and soy sauce chicken, depending on availability. Head down to Ah Lim Chicken Rice early to place first dibs on your preferred type of chicken rice.

In case you plan to drop by that afternoon, take note that the store will not be taking other orders during the giveaway. Regular sales will only be up before the event and resume after the 100 plates are gone.

The owners of Ah Lim Chicken Rice will be donating 50% of their sales proceeds from 7 May 2023 to Dementia Singapore in memory of their grandfather who had suffered from dementia. The foundation is Singapore’s leading Social Service Agency (SSA) in specialised dementia care.

Ah Lim Chicken Rice - Triple Prosperity Set

The giveaway aside, I know I would definitely want to try out their Triple Prosperity Set (S$8.80). This set includes 3 types of chicken, tau gua, bok choy and a soft, jammy egg. It’s truly a meat lover’s paradise, and perfect for those who are indecisive like me. Just look at those thick, juicy cuts of meat!

In yet another win for the east, Ah Lim Chicken Rice utilises a stellar blend of aromatics to elevate their chicken rice. Think old ginger paste and homemade sambal chilli with a taste that constantly evolves with customer feedback. Their rice is also said to be exceptionally fragrant — what more could you ask for?

Make sure to stop by Ah Lim Chicken Rice on Sunday to get your free plate of Chicken Rice, or to simply indulge in their delicious offerings.
