RubberBand's Lai Man Wang is no longer engaged
14 Feb – RubberBrand drummer Lai Man Wang has just clarified that he is no longer engaged to be married to his non-celebrity fiancée.
As reported on HK01, the drummer spoke to the media about his relationship status following reports of a new romance, after he was spotted with actress Jacqueline at a pet store recently.
"I am currently single. I had plans to register for marriage earlier, but in the end, it didn't work out," he said.
Lai said that he and his fiancée broke up last year, despite previously planning to hold their wedding that same year.
"I have always preferred to handle my personal affairs in low-key manner, which is why I didn't specifically announce it," he added.
The drummer also expressed hope that the public will pay more attention to the current pandemic and take good care of their health.
Lai announced his engagement back in 2017, and even had his wedding pictures taken in Sai Kung the year after.
