Roy Chow arrested for fighting in public

12 Dec – Hong Kong singer Roy Chow was recently arrested by the police after being caught in a fight with another man in Tsim Sha Tsui on 10 December.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who seemed drunk and unstable, was seen kneeling and begging the police to forgive him before being handcuffed and taken to the hospital for further examination.

Roy reportedly suffered an injury to his nose, while the man he was seen exchanging blows with suffered oral trauma. The latter has refused to be taken to the hospital.

No details have been released as to what caused the scuffle.

This is not the first time that the singer was arrested by the police. He was arrested in 2004 for possession of illegal drugs and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.

Back in 2014, he made headlines again for abusing then wife, model-singer Yu Chiu and was arrested afterwards, but decided later on to harass Yu at her home - resulting in two months of jail time and another 18 months of probation.

Roy had since moved on and married mainland girlfriend Britni Chen.
