Roy Chiu admits to dating Janine Chang
2 Oct – Following rumours of romance between him and Taiwanese actress Janine Chang, Roy Chiu recently confirmed that they are indeed dating.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was romantically linked to the actress after they were spotted hanging out inside his car earlier this month, spoke via his manager, who said, "[They're] in the process of pursuit. Please give them your blessings."
Janine has yet to respond to the relationship reports.
However, the news was not positively received by the actress' fans, who expressed their concern over Roy's own dating history, which include stars like Rainie Yang, Joe Chen, and Tiffany Tang.
In a past interview, Rainie told the media that she once dated someone for eight months but broke up with him due to his weird personality. Many speculated the man in question to be the said actor.
Joe was also rumoured to have dated Roy for only half a year, and declined to talk about the actor when asked about it following the breakup news.
As for his romance with Tiffany, Roy reportedly dated the actress for two years, but announced that they have broken up without Tiffany's knowledge.
Fans of Janine had since taken to her social media to leave their comments about the relationship, saying that the actress could do better, and that Roy is unworthy of her goddess status.
