Roy Azman assures safety after car burned down
5 Dec - Roy Azman assured that he and his family are safe and sound, after his car was caught on fire earlier.
The actor updated his situation on social media on 4 December, saying that the car that caught fire was one that he just had taken back from a workshop in Ampang following an overhaul.
Roy stated that he and his family went for a meal after getting the car, and that other drivers honked at him on their way home to inform him that his car was on fire.
"I didn't see the fire because I was driving. It was after the other cars honked at me that I realised that the car was on fire. And then I tried to step on the brakes but it didn't work. Luckily the handbrake did... and I was able to stop the car before it hit the divider," he said.
Roy stated that he and his family immediately ran from the car as the fire began to spread, and that he felt blessed that they were safe.
"A lot of people have contacted me. I wasn't able to respond to every call and message... all I can say is thank you to everybody who contacted me and prayed for me," he expressed.
Roy said that his car is considered a total loss, but that he is just glad that he and his family are safe.
