Roxanne Tong wanted to announce relationship when it's stable
18 Jun – Roxanne Tong clarified that both she and Kenneth Ma never intended to announce their relationship to everybody in the early stages, that is until they were caught by the media.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who was told that Kenneth's best buddy Jazz Lam was a little upset over not being told about his new romance, stated that while the two of them were never discreet about their romance, they also agreed not to announce it until the relationship got more stable.
"We were also busy with work at the time. I didn't even tell my own best friend Jennifer Shum about it either," she said.
It is noted that Jennifer previously admitted that she knew nothing about the relationship between Roxanne and Kenneth when asked about it by the media.
Roxanne then assured that she and Kenneth are planning to arrange a dinner gathering with his friends - specifically his "A Fistful of Stances" pals - as a couple.
"I have worked with Jazz and Natalie Tong before, so it should not be awkward," she added.
The couple announced their romance earlier this week after they were caught on a date together by the media. Although they declined to share how long they have been together, sources speculated that the relationship started two months ago.
