Roxanne Tong sets record straight: "I'm not pregnant, I'm career-focused"
28 Jan - Roxanne Tong has clarified once and for all that she is not pregnant with her first baby.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at a promotional event for her new TVB drama, said that just like the other pregnancy rumours, the most recent one that sparked late last year was also false.
It is noted that back in October, husband Kenneth Ma accidentally started another pregnancy rumour after posting a photo of him cleaning up his storage room and saying that he was doing so to "free up space for a new page in my life and new identity!"
Despite them denying it at the time, many speculated it to be the couple trying to keep it a hush-hush as the pregnancy supposedly was still in the early stage.
Speaking about the rumour, Roxanne said, "I really want to do more dramas. Everyone is welcome to find me. Maybe some people thought that I was pregnant, which is why they didn't look for me."
Roxanne also revealed that Kenneth has been very busy with work, and had just returned from the mainland just to get back to work in promoting his Lunar New Year movie.
On the other hand, the actress said that she is happy that her drama, "Wealth & Fortune", which was originally called "OPM", finally made it to air during the Lunar New Year four years after it was shot.
"It's meaningful to me because when I was filming it, Kenneth was still just my boyfriend, and now he is my husband," she said.
