Roxanne Tong remains optimistic for her two new dramas
8 Jul – Although two of her dramas may not see the light of day in the near future, Roxanne Tong is optimistic that everything will turn out fine.
According to HK01, it was recently reported that Roxanne's new drama "Maid Alliance" may suffer the same fate as TVB dramas "Finding Her voice" and "The Offliners", due to the fact that it stars Jacqueline Wong – who recently got involved in an affair with married singer Andy Hui.
Rumour has it that the said drama may be shelved until further notice, as well as another one of Roxanne's upcoming series, "Airport Security Unit". The latter reportedly will postpone its airing date due to the recent conflict between the anti-extradition protesters and the Hong Kong police.
When asked about the fate of these two dramas, the actress said that she would remain positive.
"As an actor, all we can do is wait for the company to make the arrangement," she said.
Roxanne also added that her previous drama, "My Commissioned Lover", also took more than a year before it finally went on air.
"So, I don't really worry about whether or not the drama will air or if it will air later," she said.
