Roxanne Tong asks fans not to attack Jacqueline Wong
7 Nov - Roxanne Tong recently reminded fans not to read too much into Jacqueline Wong's post, following the backlash that the former TVB actress received recently.
As reported on Mingpao, Roxanne, who attended a Christmas event at a shopping mall in Hung Hom on 5 November, dismissed the notion that Jacqueline was dissing her, after the latter posted a photo of herself in the swimming pool with an upside-down unicorn floatie.
It is noted that Roxanne is known for her love of unicorns and has used a unicorn and a horse stuffed toys to symbolise her and fiance, Kenneth Ma - of whom Jacqueline dated prior to her marriage.
"I don't think everyone needs to be so sensitive. Now everyone has their own lives. She is happy again, and I also wish her happiness in her new marriage and new life," said the actress, referring to Jacqueline's recent marriage to RubberBand drummer, Lai Man Wang.
As for her own upcoming wedding to Kenneth, Roxanne stated that they will only invite 80 guests, and that her bridesmaids consist of her middle school and university classmates, as well as a representative of her group of TVB pals called 2Line Party (Tracy Chu, Kayi Cheung, Jennifer Shum, and Angel Chiang).
"I have already gone to South Korea with my classmates to have my bachelorette party, and that we will hold another one with my 2Line sisters," she added.
