Rosamund Kwan to auction off jewellery for charity

7 Oct – Rosamund Kwan is set to auction her jewellery as part of a charity project with Christie's Hong Kong.

The actress shared the news on 5 October via her social media with a video, in which she can be heard saying, "I trust the Christie's team completely. I used to read a lot of Christie's auction catalogues and have witnessed many of Christie's auctions. The jewellery offered at Christie's is the best in class."

Rosamund said she decided to share part of her collection that she has accumulated over the years based on that trust.

"A lot of these pieces are suitable for every day wearing, and some are worth passing on as a legacy. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do," she added.

The actress also stated that she hopes to focus more on the environment and society as well as helping communities in need following the pandemic.

"Let us look forward to a better tomorrow," she said.

Rosamund said that every piece of her jewellery contains memories of a certain journey in her life, and that a portion of the auction proceeds will be donated to charities to share more love and kindness with the world.

The live auction is set to be held on 28 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
