13 Dec – For being such big fans of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's "Jumanji: The Next Level", the star himself has taken to social media to personally thank Malaysian audiences.

"Thank you guys, so so much, for making "Jumanji" the biggest opening weekend in the history of Sony Pictures, which is incredible!

"I love you guys so much, I love Malaysia so much," the actor said in the video he posted on his Facebook.

He then proceeded to attempt thanking Malaysian fans by saying thank you in the Malay language.

"Terima kasih," he said with a grin. It came out sounding a little like 'terima kaseh' but all in all, it was a good try from a Hollywood star.

"Terima 'kaseh'...something like that. I hope I didn't screw that up. I probably did, if I did I'm gonna make it better one day but thank you Malaysia, so much."

"Jumanji: The Next Level" opened in Malaysia on 5 December 2019 and racked up RM19 million within four days, making it the biggest opening weekend of all time for Sony releases.

The sequel to "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle", which by the way was the third biggest movie of all time in Malaysia following its release in December 2017, sees The Rock reprising his role as Dr. Smolder Bravestone.
