Rocco Nacino joins as reservist for Philippine Navy
26 Aug – Rocco Nacino recently revealed that he has enlisted to be a reservist for the Philippine Navy.
As reported on Rappler, the actor shared the news with a series of photos of his meeting with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ADP), saying that he was inspired to do so after training with the ADP for his upcoming series, "Descendants of the Sun".
"AFP made me realise how I can contribute to the country by being a reservist for the Philippine Navy. This is an exciting year for me!" he enthused.
Nacino also expressed hope that he can utilise his skills as a nurse for medical missions, physical skills in times of calamity, while using his influence to inspire and motivate the youth.
"I am glad that [GMA Network] is very supportive of this new journey of mine. Training videos will be coming soon!" he added.
Nacino joins the likes of celebrities such as Matteo Guidicelli and Gerald Anderson, who also joined the army reserves earlier.
