Robert Durst story coming to Lifetime

Lifetime will show a TV movie about Robert Durst

Lifetime is planning a new TV movie around real estate heir and murder suspect Robert Durst, reports Variety.

The Lifetime movie, still in the early development stages, would be seen through the eyes of Durst's late wife, Kathie, who disappeared in 1982 and was the first of three suspected victims killed by Durst.

The film will be adapted from Matt Birkbeck's "A Deadly Secret: The Bizarre and Chilling Story of Robert Durst," and scripted by Bettina Gilois.

Durst has already been the subject of HBO's "The Jinx," which looked into Durst's implication in the unsolved disappearance of his wife as well as the murders of friend Susan Berman and neighbor Morris Black.
