RM tops global music chart with song with Megan Thee Stallion
9 Sep - He might be in the military right now, but it doesn't mean that RM can't dominate the global music charts in absentia.
As of 6 September, Spotify announced that the new song by Megan Thee Stallion, which features the BTS member, is in 10th place on Spotify's daily Global Top Songs chart with over 4.5 million streams.
The song, "Neva Play" has also hit number one on the iTunes charts in 87 regions including the US, Germany, Canada and Greece. It also rose to second place on the Daily Digital Single ranking announced by Japan's Oricon.
Megan Thee Stallion has also recently released the music video for "Neva Play", where RM is depicted as an animation character due to his absence following military enlistment.
Meanwhile RM, real name Kim Nam-joon, will be discharged from his service in June next year.
