Rita Ora wears only a nude thong under totally see-through mesh mask dress
Naked dressing has been a *huge* red carpet trend this year. And leading the charge has been Rita Ora. In the past few months, the artist and wife of Taika Waititi has donned a number of daring looks.
From freeing the nip in a black lace maxi dress, repping Barbiecore in an open-weave neon pink crochet design and serving Christmas party inspo in a sheer silver midi, to flashing her knickers in a lace ruffle style, going braless in a very see-through black cape dress and giving the trend a day-time spin in a sheer lace crop top at the Venice Film Festival. No wonder she's considered the unofficial queen of the naked dress.
So, it was no surprise to see Rita repping more of the same at British Vogue's 'Forces For Change' party in London last night. Check out her latest naked 'fit:
For the occasion, Rita was wearing a black halterneck dress constructed entirely from mesh fabric. Going braless under the dress, Rita didn't quite free the nip thanks to some strategically placed black 3D flower corsages over her nipples that continued up and around the neck of the design. The totally transparent number featured ruching around her waist as well as a central leg slit, with the asymmetric hem fanning into a small train behind her.
The frock also featured an unusual face-piece. In the same mesh as the rest of the dress, the panel wrapped around the back of Rita's head – trapping her long blonde hair that was styled in a French plait beneath the mesh – and finishing just below her eyes.
The back of the design also clearly showed Rita's nude thong, the only thing she wore underneath the dress. A black clutch embellished with silver sequins and barely-there strappy heeled sandals completed the look.
Rita keeps raising the bar with each new naked look. We can't wait to see what she wears next.
