Rihanna Is Officially Launching Hair Care [Updated]

After plenty of speculation, it's official: Rihanna is getting into hair care. On Tuesday, the artist and beauty mogul officially announced the expansion of her Fenty Beauty empire to include hair care, dubbed, of course, Fenty Hair. It joins the existing Fenty Beauty lineup, which also includes Fenty Skin and Fenty Fragrance, in addition to Rihanna's lingerie label Savage x Fenty.
"You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I've had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural — so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need!" wrote Rihanna in an Instagram caption announcing the news. "It's time to play and get stronger by the style," she continues.

In an accompanying teaser video, a trench-coat-clad Rihanna wears a shaggy pixie hairstyle and asks "Are you ready?" She then makes her way through a suburban neighborhood, as images of bouncy curls, sleek edges and smooth blowouts flash across the screen.
While details about the specific product range and pricing are still being kept under wraps, the brand did announce that the full range will be available on fentyhair.com on June 13. Users can also sign up on the brand's website for early access to shop the brand new collection on June 10 at 8 p.m. PST.
Update, June 11, 2024: Rihanna's Fenty Hair launch is now available to shop for those who sign up for early access on fentyhair.com. Ranging in price from $18 to $36, the much-anticipated line includes shampoo, conditioner, damage repair treatment, deep conditioner, heat protectant, curl-defining cream, strong hold gel, edge control gel and an edge styling tool. The range also features two four-piece "The Maintenance Crew" sets, valued at $122 and currently on sale for $110 each.
Fenty Hair features Replenicore-5 — a blend of Barbados gooseberry, upcycled jackfruit extract, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, green tea extract and amino acids — to promote healthy (and hydrated) hair. Plus, each of the products feature a warm, amber floral scent.
