Rie Tomosaka to marry for the third time

27 Dec – Rie Tomosaka recently announced that she is tying the knot for the third time.

As reported on Mingpao, the "Atsuhime" actress announced the good news on Christmas Day, saying that after deciding not to rely on anyone and to live her life solely on her own, things began to change in her life.

"That is when I met a partner who is a senior... I felt saved, encouraged and supported," she added.

"I started working in the entertainment industry at the age of 12, and most of my life has been spent as Rie Tomosaka. I only know my life, so I thought that this was the standard, including the environment around me. However, there are many things that come to my mind at this age that I seem to have led a special life. Having supported my family by living as Rie Tomosaka, I thought I had no right to choose anything, but that never happened. I can live my life in my own hands! I feel like I've finally been able to feel it from the bottom of my heart," she added.

Rie was previously married to actor Masahiko Kawahara for five years before their divorce in 2008. The two are parents to a son. She then tied the knot with singer-songwriter Suneohair in 2011, but ended the marriage in 2016.
