Renowned food blogger’s 3rd kopitiam 2 months after 2nd outlet opening
Less than 2 months after opening her 2nd kopitiam in Bidadari, Miss Tam Chiak has opened her third Tam Chiak Kopitiam at 431 Northshore Drive! Tucked within the Punggol Point Woods housing estate, it’s a collaboration with actor Chew Chor Meng, who also helped with her second outlet.
This humble kopitiam contains 10 stalls, including drinks, with a few stalls set to open within the coming weeks. Nevertheless, there are plenty of scrumptious options to sate your appetite!
Looking for a dim sum fix? Look no further than Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun to enjoy delectable, affordable dim sum! Choose from their unique array of Cheong Funs from Scallop Cheong Fun (S$6), Mushroom Cheong Fun (S$4) and the original Prawn Cheong Fun (S$5).
To all the spice heads out there, you will be thrilled to see Tao Jie Mala Hotpot. Much like the Bidadari outlet, Punggol’s Mala Xiang Guo and Mala Tang are also priced at S$2.49 per 100g. Chinese dishes from the Bidadari outlet such as Cumin Beef (S$15.90) and Fragrant Spicy Lala (S$15.90) are featured here, too.
Look out for other options such as Fragrant Spicy Baby Lobster (S$25.90), Stir Fried Frog (S$22.90) and Hand Pulled Pork Ribs (S$15.90).
Also here in the second outlet is the same Cai Fan stall from the Punggol branch, perfect for a simple, hearty meal. There is also HK Style Charcoal Roasted Delights for other simple meal options. Indulge in their Signature Dang Gui Roasted Duck Rice (S$4.50) or Char Siew Wanton Noodles (S$4.50).
For those of you craving a midnight munch, you are in for a treat as Dou Yong Tau Foo is one of the stalls that’s open 24 hours. You can have a bowl of Yong Tau Foo Soup of 5 pcs + 1 Noodle/Rice for S$5! Do note that stall times vary.
So if you’re ever in the Punggol area, this should be on your new latest list of eats!
