Ren Jiao's camp denies all speculations about her death
23 Oct - Wang Wei, the manager of late actress Ren Jiao, recently denied rumours concerning her recent tragic death.
As reported on Mingpao, Wang, who spoke on behalf of the actress' parents, issued a statement denying all the rumours that have been swirling around in regards to her death, which include previous speculations about a drug overdose and suicide.
"All the reports are false. I hope that netizens could respect the dead and do not listen to these baseless assertion. The result of this tragedy will be released by the police after a thorough investigation," Wang said.
On the other hand, there has been no response from actor Yang Xuwen's manager about his recent meeting with the police.
The actor was the last person to be seen with Ren before her untimely death. The actress' body was found on the lawn of a Suzhou hotel on 15 October, believed to have fallen from the balcony of a hotel room.
A Beijing Film Academy alumna, Ren is known for her many supporting roles, was most recognized as the Green Snake in the 2015 movie, "Zhong Kui: Snow Girl and the Dark Crystal".
