Local film "Redha" will be honoured once again overseas.

29 Aug – Tunku Mona Riza's film, "Redha" will be receiving the Merit Award at the Los Angeles Awareness Film Festival (LAAFF 2016) which is set to take place next month from 6 to 16 October 2016.

"Alhamdulillah, I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of "Redha" and for the families with an autistic child, your plight is now being highlighted at Los Angeles," wrote Tunku Mona on her Facebook page.

She also expressed her joy that "Redha" is gaining the attention of the world and thus able to bring awareness on the issue she had tried so hard to raise.

LAAFF 2016 is organised by Heal One World, a non-profit charitable organisation who aids the West Pico boulevard community in Los Angeles with the mission to inspire and call for attention on matters relating to the ecology, politics, health and well-being.

Apart from screening films, LAAF 2016 will also host a panel with the filmmakers.
