Rebecca Zhu laughs off new dating rumour
21 Aug – Rebecca Zhu has dismissed rumours that she is now secretly dating the very wealthy Kenneth Shi, son of Allen Shi, the President of the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong.
As reported on Mingpao, sources recently claimed that the TVB actress has started dating the heir last year and even went on a holiday to Thailand together. She was also rumoured to be pregnant with Kenneth's child.
When asked about the rumour during a recent appearance, Rebecca denied that she is dating anybody, adding that the two of them are just friends.
"We were introduced by a mutual friend, but he is not pursuing me," she explained.
Rebecca also laughed when asked about the pregnancy rumour, saying, "That's just too exaggerated. I even wore high heels at an event a few days ago. I want to focus on my career for now. There is no suitor."
It is noted that prior to Kenneth, Rebecca was romantically linked to her "A General, A Scholar and A Eunuch" co-star, Matthew Ho.
