Raymond Wong dismisses rumours of wife's infidelity
2 Oct – Hong Kong actor Raymond Wong Ho Yin recently expressed frustration over a photo of his wife being circulated by an unknown sender.
As reported on Mingpao, recently an unknown source sent a letter to the media saying that Raymond's wife Kaka has been having an affair with a married man named Ray, and is "destroying other people's families".
The source also provided some photos of Kaka and her alleged lover as proof, as well as a screen-cap of a conversation supposedly between her and Ray.
When asked about it recently, Raymond said that he and his wife have a great relationship and that he trusts her very much.
"Nobody could ever come between us as a family," he said.
As for the man named Ray, Raymond said that he doesn't know who he is.
As to whether he will talk to Kaka about it, he said, "Of course, I will share this with her. There is no secret between us. In fact, I am actually fascinated by this because we have many photos like this. It is normal to take photos with friends. I believe there is nothing going on between them."
Raymond also denied that he is upset by the rumours, saying that he is used to it having been in the industry for more than 20 years.
"I will just treat it as a joke," he added.
However, the actor said that the one thing that angered him about the letter was the fact that the source mentioned his father-in-law by name and even wrote it in red ink.
"This thing is unrelated to him. I wouldn't mind if it was me, because I am a public figure. But he has nothing to do with this," he said.
Raymond also stressed that this would be the first and the last time he responds to the issue so not to give more attention to it.
