Raymond Tsang showed no indication of health problems

27 Apr - Tsang Sau Ming, the wife of TVB actor Raymond Tsang who recently passed away, shared that there was no indication that her husband was having any problems prior to his death.

As reported on Mingpao, Mrs Tsang, who spoke on a telephone interview from Guangzhou recently, shared that while her husband was diagnosed with cardiovascular disease, he said nothing about having discomfort prior to his performance in Guangzhou.

"There was no precursor, since he didn't have any shoot or intense work prior to the performance," she said.

However, Mrs Tsang said that his cardiovascular problem might be the reason for his death, admitting that the actor had put on weight recently.

"I am not sure if it's because the venue was too crowded or he was nervous when he started singing. I am not really sure," she said.

She revealed that her husband's body will be shipped back to Hong Kong this week.

When asked if Raymond had any wishes prior to his death, Mrs Tsang said that the former auxiliary police had once expressed hope that their son will study hard so that he could join the forces like he did.

She also revealed that Raymond had planned to renovate the house and travel with her together, and had once expressed his intention to make a breakthrough in his acting.

Raymond Tsang passed out while performing in Guangzhou on 23 April. He was declared dead after the medical team failed to resuscitate him an hour later.
