Ray Lui is happy Donnie Yen - amfAR issue settled
5 Apr – Hong Kong actor Ray Lui recently stated that he is happy that everything is fine now between Donnie Yen and the organiser of the Hong Kong's amfAR Gala.
As reported on Singtao, the actor, who previously walked away from the event alongside Donnie in support of the actor, reiterated that Donnie did not feel discriminated against because of the seating problem like it was reported, but due to the attitude shown by the foreign staff at the event.
Asked if he faced similar situation at the event, Ray said that he didn't even managed to enter the venue.
"I met Donnie at the door when he was leaving. I believe what he told me, so I showed my support by my action," he said.
When asked whether he will attend the event again if invited next year, Ray said that he won't give any answer to hypothetical questions.
As for his wife Yang Xiaojun, who does charity work herself, the actor stated that it will not affect her contribution in the future.
