Raf Yaakob denies third party in previous marriage

15 Feb - Raf Yaakob has recently dismissed speculations of a third party in his divorce from wife and actress Mawar Rashid.

In a recent interview with an entertainment programme, the entrepreneur and brother of singer and celebrity chef Fazley Yaakob stated that the two of them still have a good relationship despite their divorce.

"There is no third party in our separation. None on my part or hers. God has destined for our marriage to end here, so I will accept it with an open heart," he said.

Raf said that both he and Mawar are working hard to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their children, and that they have never fought regarding things concerning their kids.

"We are very flexible when it comes to them. That's our responsibility, to raise our children in happiness. Praise be to God, for now, they are not affected by what had happened," he added.

As to whether there is a chance for the two of them to reconcile, Raf said that he will leave it to God.

"For now, all I want to do is focus on making money for my children and to improve myself," he added.

Raf and Mawar confirmed their divorce back in November last year. The two tied the knot in 2017 and have three children together. Raf also has two other children from a previous marriage.
