Queenie Chu to marry cardiologist boyfriend
8 Jan – After keeping mum about her relationship status for a long time, it was revealed that actress Queenie Chu will be tying the knot soon.
As reported on Mingpao, news of her upcoming marriage sparked after tabloids found out that the Miss Hong Kong 2004 1st runner up has filed a Notice of Intended Marriage; with her partner identified as a cardiologist at the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital named Jason Chan.
After news of their upcoming marriage broke out, Queenie responded to the media saying, "Thank you for your love and blessings for me over the years. Dr. Chan and I sincerely wish you all a good health and a happy life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
It was reported that Dr. Chan was also the same cardiologist who performed the operation on TV personality Bob Lam back in 2018, and that it was the latter who introduced him to Queenie.
When asked about it, Bob laughed and only responded, "I wish them happiness, sweetness, and joy. I am so happy and grateful after hearing the news."
Prior to Dr Chan, Queenie was engaged to be married to EO3 member Eddie Pang in 2015, but that they eventually broke up. Eddie had since tied the knot with his non-showbiz girlfriend in April last year.
