She paired the dress with nude heels for an elegant ensemble, and accessorised gracefully with a blue woollen shawl with a fringe trim — which complimented the jewel tones of the dress.

Greeted by the local community of Brecon, Their Majesties paid a visit to the Brecknock Agricultural Society' s annual show, where the Queen received a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The highlights of the showcase included meeting two alpacas called Caleb and Reg, and sampling some delicious locally-made ice cream. They met a number of local livestock owners, and food and drink producers.

The King and Queen also planted an oak sapling which will be resettled in the Brecon County Showground in due course. Later on during their visit, they attended a reception at the local theatre, meeting Welsh coronation champions, representatives from the local health service and the Brecon Women's Festival, and members of the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team.

When King Charles was the Prince of Wales, he was the patron of the Brecknock Agricultural Society, which was founded in 1755, making it the oldest surviving society of its kind in the United Kingdom. Each year the annual show attracts around 12,000 people a year.
