Production company slams Mike He for contract breach
24 Jun - Taiwanese actor Mike He will now be replaced by a new actor for his new series, "Youpiao yu Shufulei", after the team stated that he has violated the agreement that he has signed with them.
The actor, who was earlier accused of sexual harassment by a bar waitress for allegedly groping her while intoxicated, was revealed by the team to have not informed the crew of the issue before it made headlines.
The company stated that Mike has signed a contract which stipulated that the artiste cannot have any negative news about them prior to or while filming the new series, but that he failed to inform them that he was questioned by the police in January.
It is noted that his house was also raided by the police last month.
The company stated that Mike has violated the principle of integrity, and will not rule out seeking damages from the actor for impeding on production.
It is noted that the case has now been submitted to Taipei District Prosecutors' Office.
