Priscilla Wong wishes Tony Hung and Natalie Tong well
23 May - One couldn't help but be reminded of Priscilla Wong when Tony Hung and Natalie Tong announced their breakup, especially since the actor was romantically linked to her for the longest time before Priscilla started dating her "Madam Cutie on Duty" co-star, Edwin Siu.
Back in 2013, fans expressed hope for Priscilla and Tony to end up together after the two of them showed a lot of chemistry as the hosts of "Pilgrimage of Wealth". However, it all ended when Edwin expressed his interest in Priscilla after working together in the aforementioned drama in 2014, and proceeded to woo the actress.
It was after they announced their relationship that Tony started courting Natalie Tong, while he and Priscilla remained good friends.
When asked about the breakup recently, Priscilla, who appeared at a mall event, shared that she prefers not to make further comments about Tony and Natalie's breakup in order not to cause more pressure for them.
"As a friend, I want what's best for the two of them. I can only wish them the best," she said.
She also added that Tony has always been an optimistic person, and that the actor is currently doing fine.
"Every couple needs their own time and way to resolve the matters. Matter pertaining to feelings and emotions are the most difficult [to resolve]," she said.
As for rumours about a third party in the couple's relationship, the actress said that Natalie and Tony are the only two people who know what is going on.
When asked if she is worried that the media will link her romantically to Tony again, Priscilla responded, "I am not worried at all. We've all heard it before. It's obviously just for entertainment. My boyfriend only laughs when he read them."
