Priscilla Wong says "Life After Death" was her toughest drama

19 Jun – Priscilla Wong admitted that playing the role of Laura Fong in her new series, "Life After Death" was really challenging for her as an actress due to the nature of the role.

The actress, who sat down for an interview with Mingpao to talk about the new series, shared that her character not only became a single mother after losing her husband in an accident, but also has to take care of her daughter and stepson while being estranged to her sister.

"The role was quite heavy. I was still in my honeymoon period at the time we were filming, so it posed a big challenge for me. It was the most painful role I have ever encountered since I started becoming an actress," she said.

With her character experiencing bitterness and pain both in romance and her family life, Priscilla had to continuously cry on set and found her mood to be very unstable.

However, the actress admitted that the changes in her personal life, including her marriage to Edwin Siu, really helped her to understand the character more.

"I happened to rest for more than two years prior to shooting the series, and in between that time, a lot had changed in my life. This growth helped me a lot in portraying my character," she added.
