Priscilla Ku comes out of retirement to host talk show
24 Aug – After fading away from showbiz in 2003 to focus on her family and her jewellery business, presenter-actress Priscilla Ku is now back in the spotlight with a new talk show.
As reported on Mingpao, the former TV personality recently announced that she is hosting a new online radio show via the new platform NEW TV called "Be My Guest", and will invite various guests in each episode, including Hong Kong singer Kenny Bee, politician Ronny Tong, and former Secretary for Food and Health, Ko Wing Man.
She expressed, "I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is my home. But over the years, the harmonious home has been suddenly politicised. Many things became black and white, and everybody has different opinions, positions, and colours."
"I, like most citizens, don't know much about politics but am concerned about this home we are living in. This time, I promised as a host that I will use the same perspective as an ordinary citizen, to chat with guests and friends from various sectors and know more about Hong Kong matters," she added.
Priscilla hopes that by hosting the show online, she will be able to reach a large number of audiences in society.
