Priscilla cuts hair short to look "mean" for her new drama

15 May – In preparation for her new drama, "Seven Princesses", Priscilla Wong decided to cut her long locks and dye it jet black, much to her husband Edwin Siu's protest.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who appeared at the press conference of the new series in a tailored suit and the new hairdo, shared that she made the decision to change her looks as she was excited about playing a ruthless lawyer for the first time ever.

"The drama is like the modern version of "Journey to the West". Everyone will experience a lot of trials in the process of learning and grow more mature," she said.

When asked what her husband thought about it, Priscilla laughed and said that Edwin is still not used to it.

"He thinks I look mean after cutting and dyeing my hair black. That was what I was going for," she said.

As for the character, Priscilla said that it will be challenging for her as there will be four closing arguments in the script that she has to film, including one that will take a long time for her to memorise.

The upcoming series will also co-star Samantha Ko, Rosina Lam, and Jeannie Chan among others.
