Sharing a video of their visit to her official instagram page, The Princess of Wales said that, "organisations like the Baby Banks Alliance and @sebbyscorneruk play a vital role in helping to give parents and carers the capacity to provide the nurturing care which is so important to babies and young children."

She added that, "The relationships, experiences and surroundings in our earliest years lay the foundations for the rest of our lives." The visit ties in with Kate's Early Childhood foundation and the Shaping Us campaign, which is working to drive, "awareness of, and action on, the extraordinary impact of our early years."

Giovanna Fletcher is a Shaping Us Champion, and joined the Princess for the visit to learn more about the important work taking place.

For the visit, Kate wore a long sleeved, turtle neck top and midi skirt, with a wide belt and knee-high boots. Her deep brown, monochrome look was an autumnal choice, while Giovanna opted for a bolder, festive green in a long sleeve, wrap midi dress.
