Princess Eugenie Shares a Rare Selfie with Jack Brooksbank from Their Engagement Announcement

From Harper's BAZAAR

It's hard to believe it was three years ago that Princess Eugenie announced her engagement to Jack Brooksbank. Of course, the happy couple is now expecting their first baby together, and Eugenie decided to share a rare selfie on Instagram to celebrate the anniversary of their official engagement shoot.

In the selfie, Eugenie and Brooksbank look blissfully happy. They're also both wearing the outfits they wore for their engagement announcement and photo shoot, so this intimate snap was likely taken the very same day.

Princess Eugenie captioned her post, "This time 3 years ago.. flashback to such a happy moment when Jack and I announced our engagement... xx #flashbackfriday."

Eugenie and Brooksbank tied the knot in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in October 2018. Their royal wedding took place mere months after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's big day, and used the same stunning location.

In September 2020, Eugenie revealed on Instagram that she was pregnant with her first baby. "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021....👶🏻," she captioned a sweet snap of a pair of baby booties.

Meanwhile, it was revealed in November that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had allowed Eugenie and Brooksbank to stay in Frogmore Cottage. Since Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are now based in the United States, their Windsor home had been left empty. A source revealed to BAZAAR that Harry and Meghan "are delighted to be able to open up their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own family."
