Princess Anne steps out in full uniform to celebrate 100 years of St John Ambulance Cadets
Princess Anne arrived in Northern Ireland on Wednesday (6 July) to attend a selection of official engagements.
The Princess Royal took part in the official Royal visit and met with various organisations and individuals during her visit, including the St John Ambulance Cadets.
Princess Anne celebrated the 100th anniversary of the organisation and met with cadets in Ballymena. As the Princess Royal is the Commander in Chief of the organisation, she wore full uniform to mark the important centenary event.
Photographs of the visit were shared to the official Royal Family Instagram account and showed Princess Anne in a white shirt and black tie along with an official hat and blazer, featuring the appropriate colours and epaulettes to illustrate her high ranking.
While in Northern Ireland, Princess Anne was also able to meet people from across the country at a special garden party event which was held at Hillsborough Castle.
The Princess Royal also received a tour of the Irish Equine Rehabilitation and Fitness Centre’s state-of-the-art facilities.
Princess Anne is a well-known lover of horses and recently attended Royal Ascot to watch the racing alongside her daughter Zara and son-in-law Mike Tindall.
For the occasion, Princess Anne opted for a peach dress with pleated detailing and an asymmetric hat featuring feathers. Zara Tindall looked pretty in pink with a striking green and pink hat to finish her look, while her husband Mike was dapper in a top hat and suit.
