Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have revealed an intimate look at King Charles's coronation.

Yesterday afternoon, the royal couple shared a montage video of the historic coronation festivities, just hours after the Wales family took part in the Westminster Abbey ceremony and the following carriage procession and balcony appearance. The clip begins with a sequence showing William and Kate leaving their home for the car ride to the abbey, along with their children Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Prince George did not travel with them, as he served as one of the king's pages of honor during the event.

The clip also includes shots of King Charles and Queen Camilla leaving the ceremony in the historic Gold State Coach, followed by the Wales family waving to the camera from the Diamond Jubilee State Coach. It concludes with the royal family waving from the Buckingham Palace balcony, as the Royal Air Force completed their flypast.

"What. A. Day," reads the caption. "Thank you to everyone who made it happen #Coronation."

For the big day, the prince and princess wore formal robes and mantles at the request of King Charles and Queen Camilla. Under her robe, Princess Kate wore an Alexander McQueen dress in ivory silk crepe, paired with royal-blue crystal-embellished Aquazzura heels and an array of jewels that paid tribute to both Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana.

Princess Charlotte coordinated with her mother in a little ivory Alexander McQueen dress with white ballet flats and a glittering Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen headpiece to match Kate's. She held hands with Prince Louis while entering the Abbey, as the young prince stood next to his sister in a little navy suit.
