Pregnant Zanilia Zhao won't worry about her popularity
8 Feb – Although she got pregnant during the peak of her career, Chinese actress Zanilia Zhao is not at all concerned about losing her popularity and weakening her staying power.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who sat down for her first interview since marrying actor Feng Shaofeng last year, shared that rather than think too much about her acting career that is now on hiatus since she tied the knot with her "Monkey King 3" co-star, she would just go with the flow and learn to be the best mother and wife she could be.
"I just let things go. Since I am entering a new stage of my life, I will just try to do a good job," she said.
Zanilia is also hopeful that the time off acting and her new role as a wife and mother-to-be will help her become a better actress when she is ready to make her comeback to the limelight.
Asked if she would be able to balance her work and her new role, Zanilia said that she has yet to decide on what she would do when the baby arrives.
"But I hope to be able to choose the kind of projects that it worth doing. I will also try to spend more time with my family and doing things that are worthwhile," she said.
