Popeyes Just Launched 6 New Menu Items

And the chicken chain is even giving them away for free.

While there’s always a place in our hearts for a juicy fast food burger, right now there’s no doubt that crispy chicken is having its moment. From chicken sandwiches to chicken fries and crispy tenders, we just can’t seem to get enough of the bird. And fast food chains like Popeyes know how to keep their customers happy by offering a well-balanced mix of new menu items and returning fan favorites.

Just last summer, Popeyes brought its chicken sandwiches back to the menu full-time, and later announced that bone-in breaded chicken wings would be returning permanently as well, both thanks to requests—nay, pleas—from its devoted fans.

Now, Popeyes is adding six new menu items that are sure to become fast favorites.

Popeyes Introduces New Boneless Wings

Hot on the heels of KFC’s newest nugget drop and Wendy’s introducing Saucy Nuggs, Popeyes is taking the lead with its newest product: Boneless Wings. The chicken chain announced it will serve up its own take on the popular sauce-coated bites. Starting June 25, you can snag an order of the new, all-white meat Boneless Wings at Popeyes locations nationwide.

The wings are hand-battered and fried to perfection before being tossed in a generous portion of a flavorful sauce. Customers can choose from six sauce options: Classic, Honey Lemon Pepper, Signature Hot, Honey BBQ, Sweet ‘N Spicy, and Roasted Garlic Parmesan.

As part of the drop, Popeyes is offering fans a free 6-piece order of Boneless Wings with any $10 purchase made on the Popeyes app or website through July 14. Now you have no reason not to try them.

While we don’t know how long the Boneless Wings will be around, if they’re anything like Popeyes’ chicken nuggets (which won our fast food chicken nugget taste test), we do know they’re going to be delicious. And maybe if we ask nicely, Popeyes might just make them a permanent fixture.
